It’s a bit like the tactical energy-saving strategies of major sports clubs, who ease off in local competitions to focus on international results—because they know they can still make it through.

I’ve added manually placed asterisks (*) to the table above. That’s how I mark the beneficiaries.

The beneficiaries of the post earnings are the current leader of the ranking and the last remaining participant (@homesteadlt , @deepresearch ). In case of a tie, we rotate the beneficiaries—and that's the case now, since we have 6 leaders.

I made a few small mistakes in setting up the beneficiaries, but I’ll sort it out in the next few days.

The results will be presented in a table like this one. In the beginning, there will be a lot of ties and identical scores. In the previous edition of the challenge, the final tie didn’t disappear until day 20!

To be eliminated, you need three consecutive bar knockdowns (i.e., failing to meet the daily step limit). Failed attempts are marked as X in the table. The table looks like this:
