RE: The Cure for Coronavirus

in #coronavirus5 years ago

@girlbeforemirror,

MARG!!! You're alive! So am I!

How are you?

I was looking at your blog yesterday to see if you were still posting. Six months ago, my email (the one you have) got "suspended" by Microsoft for security reasons ... along with my email address book. Lost was your email address and all those related to my business. According to Microsoft, the problem has been fixed a hundred times ... and yet I still can't get in. This has caused problems akin to those experienced by Pharaoh on Moses' exodus from Egypt. My new email address is exactly like my old one ... except change "hotmail" to "gmail."

Your meme ... it's ironic. About a week ago I was thinking about how the toilet paper shortage might be variously effecting women and men in public bathrooms.

Women:

"Sorry, ladies ... we're out of toilet paper."

Usher in of the End Times.

Men:

Sorry fellas ... we're out of toilet paper."

So?

This is one of those times where men's decidedly lower standards of hygiene is, demonstrably, a strategic advantage. We're survivors. What's a few skid marks? Indeed, I'm toying with a poem just so entitled.

Good to hear from you, darling. You're of the handful I really don't want to lose irrespective of the outcome of these blockchain wars. :-)

Hmmm...
I've been checking yours for months you bastard!
I'm glad to see you survived your empty nest. I am wondering if you have resurfaced with the return of princess Kate, due to lockdowns, (Silver lining).
Seriously though, I hope you are both well.

I have planned to do many posts, most recently, a new into for the hive. But... I have gone from a lady of leisure to a home school, primary and secondary educator.
Regarding this, 10th grade chemistry is a bit of a struggle, check that gmail, your tutoring skills WILL be called on. The Kindergarten stuff I can handle.

As for the gender banter, I am not engaging your bait anymore, much as it pains me, I will not.
Back to A is for apple B is for Butt...

@girlbeforemirror,

I do not suffer fools gladly ... so HardFork 21 broke me. It was only the February 14 launch (much delayed) of Voice Beta (in the U.S.), and the parallel announcement on the same day of Justin Sun buying out Ned Scott, that pulled me back in. That, the aforementioned email morass and an unexpected medical issue conspired to silence Poor Ol' Quill.

Regarding the tutoring, you've been thrown in at the deep end of the pool. Full immersion. Baptism by fire. I suggest you invest in a light sabre because, as you'll quickly discover, your children are actually Sith Lords. Respecting 10th grade chemistry (to say nothing of math), let me introduce you to perhaps the most valuable invention in the history of humanity:

https://www.khanacademy.org/

And ... it's FREE. Sal Khan is one of the most gifted "natural teachers" you'll ever encounter and the site covers a tremendous number of subjects (the focus is on K-12 math but there's lots of science in there as well, including chemistry). You will save yourself a great deal of grief and aggravation by making yourself intimately familiar with the site.
