Ah the heat! Last night never dropped below 25 degrees Celsius and today it topped 40. It's been such a hot muggy day, with lots of clouds, trapping the heat in, there is no escaping it, unless you are near a pool or body of water. Which was not an option for me and my girls.
I find it quite difficult to think in this heat and my brain tends to feel a little like mush, don't think it likes been cooked in 40 degree heat much! It doesn't help that I had less that 5 hours sleep last night.
It was just too hot and even though I kept spraying myself with water, I always seemed to dry out just as i was about to drop off, which just left me feeling uncomfortable again. This lasted until I got my butt out of bed, went outside and stuck my head under the tap. I wish I remembered to to this before I went to bed. Hopefully I will tonight!
There is nothing quite like a wet head, to keep you cool, that and a wet sarong over you, my two survival strategies for the heat.
Today I had my weekly meeting with the the rise up collective, which always makes me feel so empowered. A few days ago I was asked to help out in an online English speaking group in Spain, who is working closely with a Spanish Human Rights lawyer, who has been fighting against mandatory Vaccinations and Masks.
This was an easy yes from me, as it means I can now be a liaison person between my group and the legal action group.
Yesterday, I spend most of the day, transcribing the last conference call between the lawyer and the public. I had watched the call live last week, but it is amazing how much you can miss even when you think you are concentrating fully. It also helped me to improve my knowledge on our Constitutional rights here in Spain.
As it stands there is no law in place, saying we have to wear a mask and it goes against several articles of the Constitution. Spain actually has quite a good constitution, one that talks a lot about your right to freedom of expression and speech. And the right to individual honour, dignity and integrity.
It really is just a mandate put in place, but it is not justifiable by law and the authorities have no right to enforce it. Although they certainly try. By refusing to wear it, we do get fined, but the these fines are send to the lawyer who will fight them on our behalf.
So many people are unaware of this, so spreading awareness is vital at this stage. Making handouts that clearly state your rights and how the restrictions inhibits those rights, is something we have been busy with in the group.
It is so important to be informed, to do the research for yourself and to know your rights. It's kind of funny because I have never really paid much attention to laws up until now, it's one of the reasons I have lived outside of the system for so long.
But with how things are now, it is not about hiding, but about uniting and sharing information is so important. The worst that can happen is that folk don't want to listen and that is their right!
At the moment vaccinations are not mandatory in Spain, but that could change, they already tried to do so in Catalonia, but the lawyer we have representing us, managed to overturn that ruling . That gives me great hope, because I am not going to agree to any vaccination for my girls or me. At the end of the day, it has got to be about choice and having the freedom to choose.
It's funny how we change, how our opinions and morals change. Not too long ago I was some what of a pirate and now, now I am helping a legal team gain information and gain more support from the public.
But that's what life is all about, making changes when we need to, because nothing stays the same and right now we are experiencing one of the biggest upheavals of our time.

happy to hear of lawyers fighting against mandatory masks.
yes, In Canada, London, Austria and Holland that I know of. Thanks for your support in this x
its a shame mandated medical devices is a thing, we should be able to put whatever substances we want in our own body including the virus if we want it.

We have some lawyers stepping up here in Australia, but I'm not overly confident on how far they'll get, because Queensland lawyers are still fighting anti-association laws which came in several years ago. They may win, eventually, but if it's after everyone's been forcefully vaccinated with a barely tested vaccine, then it's a bit too late for all those who get harmed by it. It will be the usual case of apologies after the fact, when they've achieved what they want to achieve.
Wishing all power to you over in Spain. I hope they haven't buried the constitution as much as they are doing here.
What kind of apology will you disease spreaders give the people you maim with covid? Imagine being so scientifically illiterate you are opposed to a vaccine that doesn't exist.
There is multiple cures being developed, your rights also end where mine begin so tread lightly please, some of us live in cities with 0 cases still.
Thank you @minismallholding, today over 500,000 people gathered in Berlin to oppose the covid restrictions and the N.W.O, this will send out huge ripples my friend. xxxxx
Sending you cooling thoughts in more ways than one. I don't know what end is up some days any more, but I am always grateful for people doing work to ensure our bodily freedoms. 💚
thank you @plantstoplanks, your words mean a lot xxxx
"a Spanish Human Rights lawyer, who has been fighting against mandatory Vaccinations and Masks."
You people are fucking scum, I hope your children get cancer
@hivewatchers @steemcleaners
Is disagreeing with people grounds for wishes of cancer on others?
also @viraldrome how do you rationalize that type of desire for someones children when the frustration was rooted in the claim we want "to maim people" with the virus?
I'm sorry you feel the need for such cruelty and viciousness, and that you weren't aware of this writer's kindness and care for the earth and everyone around her, or the circumstances of her life which makes this comment particularly hurtful. I know that COVID has made a lot of people very frightened and irrational, and I extend compassion towards you in these troubling times. I never use downvotes ever, but this is what they're for, in my opinion. We're up for freedom of speech here, but hateful comments like this take away the freedom of others to feel safe.
Thank you xxxxx
You are welcome. You are brave, outspoken and loving - I know you'd never speak to someone so unkindly if you disagreed with them, even though you might want to. xx
I hope that one day you get to understand what it is like to appreciate life. It is a gift and one that we should fight for. I am sorry that you have felt the need to project so much anger and hatred, life is never so black and white. There is so much more happening in between.
