It's not irrelevant; I can only assume you don't know a lot about software development if you think this. It's quite difficult for a new set of programmers to work on a code base they didn't write, especially without aid from the original coders. Also, I have no idea where you got the idea I have a personal bias, I'm not even a real Ethereum supporter. I just don't like to see the distortions of fact being put out by the ETC camp as I think it's originating primarily from scammers.
