Happy Thursday everyone! As my schedule has been getting a little more filled I’ve relied more and more on my bullet journal. I’ve decided to add a new long term goals section.
When most people think of long term goals it’s typically change my habit of staying up late or drink more water maybe spend less time on my phone...
Awhile back I did on New Year’s post (https://steemit.com/life/@nortjenn/making-2018-a-little-better) on why these aren’t always the best types of long term goals. I’ve been mentally breaking up my goals to month by month, but I realized I really needed to write these down.
I encourage you to think about long term goals you have, and find a place to write them down...whether that is a post-it note on your bulletin board, a note on your fridge, a weekly planner or maybe even a bullet journal. It helps I promise :)
Thanks for reading!

I started a bullet journal in January. I definitely like some aspects of it! At the same time it is so much easier for me to pull out a piece of paper and make a note for myself...
I was hoping to get rid of this habit and have it all in one place but so far no luck. Any suggestions?
I do this a lot too! It's hard to always have my bullet journal on me. And before I started using my bullet journal I used to just use a pad of paper near by. Eventually I got in the habit and switched over to using only sticky notes. That helped a little, I ended sticking them all on my whiteboard calendar. But even then I noticed some would fall off. I started using my bullet journal last August and one of the first pages I created was an organized sticky notes section! This changed everything for me. Granted you do have to remember to add them to the pages, but this really helps me :) As for creating spreads...I have seen some that actually use sticky notes. I actually did one last fall using them, and I think this might help you out too. Instead of creating a new spread for each week you draw out the base and use sticky notes for days of the week, a weekly to-do list, whatever you want to have. I hope that helps you out a little bit, but if you have more questions don't hesitate to ask! :)
Superb idea with the sticky notes! Thank you.
I just have cut up pages (if printed on one side only) and use those. It is a great way to reuse paper but I have chaos in my life did to excessive amount of notes;)
Ohhh! Your journaling is beautiful! I can't wait to get back to keeping a bullet journal ... maybe it'll be something I teach my daughters to do with me! :)
Thank you! And yes please let me know when you do get back to it, I love inspiration from others! Definitely something for later on but teaching your daughters to do it with you is a great idea :)
