Cryptocurrency Sees Extensive Growth Globally:
As I'm watching the price of Ethereum shooting up to $220, I was curious to see the largest Ethereum markets in the world. After more digging, I found out thatKorea accounts for the majority of # of share traded daily. South Korea is becoming a Bitcoin and Ethereum powerhouse in terms of trading volumes, liquidity and activity. Their average trading trading volume is at $335 million! In this short period of time, SK has managed to secure a giant 38% market share of the global Ethereum exchange. That is right around $7.69 BILLION in this small Asian crypto powerhouse.
Future Of Crypto Determined By Asian Powerhouses:
During the past couple months, South Korea’s three largest digital currency exchanges Bithumb, Korbit and Coinone have added support for traders interested in purchasing Ether. This has most likely been the real reason behind the explosive growth we have seen in Ethereum lately. Along with SK's efforts to add Ether to their exchanges, Huobi, a Chinese exchange, is expected to begin Ether trading tomorrow, May 31st. These nations are clearly in for the long haul as Ethereum is the most promising player in the blockchain race.

So, I still think Etherium is not a bad idea, but I still don't think it is heading exactly where cryptocurrency is supposed to be.
Anyone else here read James Wesley, Rawles? I am reminded in Patriots about the currency wars. Race to the botttom of all. How only a few transactable survive. How they jump from currency to currency to maintain stop losses (not that cryptos have these). I could make a game of racing from BTC to ETC right now and then if ETC stagnates, back to Dash or Steem or just PMs. Yes? No?
