I really enjoyed reading this article after your previous one. I like that you have applied the rules you stated earlier. It was a very good decision.

I especially liked this quote:

I've increasingly been investing in only projects that I believe in, whose visions & values I align with, that I'd like to morally support and see successful because they'd make the world a better place in some way or another that it'd make me feel good to have been a part of in supporting.

I think nowaday , there are more and more ICO avaiable on market, but it is believed that not many people not understand what the project is doing and just blindly invest on it with so called 'reputation'. Actually some of it is scam or some project needs more time to establish. So it is important that people should have a clear understanding of the project before investing on it...

Very nice article on Tenx. Thank you for that ! I came to the same conclusion as you. I don't think ICO are a great way to make you richer. It's more gambling than anything else because you never know how the market will behave at the enter of the Token on an exchange and the team most of the time have not proved yet their value.

As an investor you always have to watch investment and calculate how much you risk vs how much you can win.

I found that it's way easier to invest by buying altcoin of a project that is already there and showing real value than ICO, as it's way easier to calculate risk vs earning.

To my opinion, you should invest only in ICO when you want to support the project, but not as an investment.

"To my opinion, you should invest only in ICO when you want to support the project, but not as an investment."

well-stated.

You gave very unique post for all traders .

Hi, good post

Very good review you. Thanka for sharing

thanks for sharing

Tenx' main advantage is their unique offer, which is hard to implement yet, but things change fast in the cryptoworld and their competitors could follow them as soon as the technical barrier is broken... The question is open.

I was very interested in this card, but like others they won't be shipping to the US. There are several great cards that don't ship to the US. It's very off-putting to have your associations restricted. I'm sure I didn't "vote" for that regulation.

What's your main source for ICO news Rok?

don't have one.

the big ones, there's usually enough buzz around that word reaches my laptop a good while before. sometimes via the Consensys email list. sometimes Steemit stories. sometimes a couple good friends of mine that are deep in the space.

Right on ty sir.

Have you heard about bitwala? It's a crypto debit card too. Their fee for international transactions is 0.5%.

Nope. But I'll wait a few days for TenX and pay 0%.

Very well expressed position. And there are currently quite a few similarly structured projects on the way to the markets. One might not be able to know which one will stay, and more importantly, which one will be able to grow to a significant partition of the potential market. So you are quite prudent.

However, this ICO is raising "only" 200.000 ETH, and if you would have been able to participate in the ICO, you would not have payed the hyped up price at the start of trading. And if you look at BAT, the current price after a couple of weeks trading is still up about 5 times the ICO price.

So, I still hope this card will deliver both to customers and coin-holders.

Well, TenX has potential but there are already some tokens which are based on same concept the TenX on. TokenCard and BAT are comparatively higher potential token than TenX. And this ICO thing makes any crypto like an absolute gamble. People purchase on ICO just to sell it off on the day it hits the exchanges.

Anyways nice article you have made here. A big thumbs up.

mmm, depends...

personally, I'd be looking at these comparisons:

Screen Shot 2017-06-24 at 5.50.31 PM.pngScreen Shot 2017-06-24 at 5.50.07 PM.png

from a USER standpoint, I think TenX has alot strong value proposition based on their fee structure alone.

plus, there's the factor of ease-of-useability.

TenX is straightforward and simple. TokenCard gets complicated with setting parameters to customize payments from a basket of different ERC-20 tokens. Some advanced users might like that customization capability, though in regards to gaining wider adoption amongst the common user, the simplicity of TenX would seem to make more sense - lest not forgot the difference in fees.

of course, there's space for both.

and I'm not sure how "Basic Advertising Token" is comparable, as it's a completely different platform and functionality than a debit card.

I've given up on grabbing such hyped coins. I like this ico as well but the chance of getting in is small so i will focus on other coins with long term potential instead.

Yeah the project seems to be great but it is overvalued that investors may not make a positive return on it
