OK, here we go again with another agonising review of @haejin's crypto predictions. If you need some context then check out my previous post:
1-Day of @HAEJIN - 20/20 Hindsight (Results from 14/1/2018)
And here is the scoring system:
He get's a +1 for a successful prediction, a zero for long-range forecasts that haven't been realized yet, and a -1 for failed predictions and just plain dribble.
So let's just get this over with shall we. Or better still just skip to the bottom to get the result.
Another 10 predictions are on the line again with potential Steemit profits of $2500+
Not bad for a days work wouldn't you say, even if you paid yourself for this work.
And here we go again but I have to admit not being able to understand what the point of this post was apart from the Bitcoin price will change.
But here's a vague recommendation from the post
Price action today could show whether it holds as is expected
Although the charts do indicate the pending correction, Haejin is Bullish on it's return, which never eventuated.
I'm scoring this '0' because I'd be surprised if anyone actually sold before the correction based on this long winded recommendation.
Score: 0
Apparently the fractals are BULLISH for Enigma and the baby, mama and papa fractals are a positive sign for something big. Or as Haejin puts it, 'Nothing Enigmatic about its Profit Potential'
Sadly this wasn't to be the case as ENG fell on the back of the BTC price just like every other crypto out there and hasn't recovered to this price as yet.
Score: -1
Here we go with the cup and handle chart again for IOP, and this one could 'Deliver a Stunning Blow of Profit' according to Haejin, but alas this wasn't to be the case and it's still down 25% a week later.
At least he got the 'Stunning Blow' bit right.
Score: -1
Yes, finally time for a little FUN and it'll certainly be 'Living Up to its Name if it Generates PROFITS as Expected' but alas even with triple rounded bottoms, you would have still made a loss in the last 7 days.
And there is certainly no huge spike as per the haejin charts.
Score: -1
'VOISE could be streaming not only great music but profits to many' or so the post begins and with a couple of quick triangles later it's apparent we have a 'cup' and the handle is about to form. Which when it does we are in for a good ride.
Unfortunately, it appears the handle has fallen off this cup, so it's back to the charts to find the next set of triangles and the beginnings of a new cup. Watch this space...
Score: -1
Yes, finally a prediction that might have earned a few profits over the last week. Although, the main theme of the post was to state the bottom was near for EMC2. This may have indeed been true but...
If we extrapolate the chart over a longer period we see a clear downward trend and making money on the way down is much risker than making money on the way up. Just saying.
Score: +1
It looks like we have a 'A Confluence of Pattern, Indicators and Elliott Waves' for Digital Note (XDN) with a target price of $0.26.
And if you bought this stock on this recommendation you've already lost money, but if this if this prediction is to come true sometime in the future you're looking at a 10X gain.
Good luck with that!
Score: -1
Oh crap! Another ground floor opportunity, with many levels below ground. However this time haejin reveals a little of his investing strategy.
To me, corrections are bargain sale times! Yep! I go shopping and take nibbles using the piles of cash I've raised
But based on what I've seen so far, each of these nibbles is a loss and that's why pumping these Steemit posts is a must to cover these losses. But if you're following @haejin how are you justifying your losses?
Score: -1
Apparently we have some great things ahead for Airswap.
AirSwap (AST) which is likely to proceed in forming an a,b,c,d,e triangle. Once thing I don't see on this is any uber bullish signals or patterns. This doesn't mean decent profits can't be made; however, given how purely Cryptos reflect sentiment, the more bullish patterns could propel the price more violently up!
But then again maybe not.
Score: -1
With a headline like 'ETHLend (LEND) Won't Lend you Profits...It'll GIVE it to YOU!!' You'd expect to be making a little money right?
Well I'm sorry to break it to you yet again, but at best you might have sold on a break even. Certainly no profits here yet.

Total Score: -7
And I'm done reviewing this dribble.
And as one commenter said, he probably gained a lot of trust during the BTC Bull run.
Some might say it's hard to be an analyst around a correction but isn't that what they are supposed to predict?
And a loss is a loss.
If @haejin was anything less than a fraud he'd at least review his past predictions and show his portfolio so you could track along with his success/failure.
But he doesn't because he's more wrong than he is right.
Please RESTEEM these posts because I want to stop people from loosing money by following this self promoted genius. And please don't pay for his advice. EVER!
1 week -SBD value of his work.
Yeah, it's easy money if you can get it. And he is also powering down so is not here for the long haul.
)
So this is what Haejin will gain for the week.....
68 posts avg. 338 sbd = 22996 sbd x $6.39 = $146,944 after being flagged down
Not a bad payout for giving questionable trading advice.
Absolutely hilarious !
the thing is, that all market is going down, so there is no chance to predict something go up, if the market was in the end of december mood, then every coin will go up, so all predictions using elliot will not going to work on cryptos.
But a good analyst would recommend a sell and he only ever pumps
you know why your post is useless?
i bet that all the analysis will be right, if the market cap were still growing
and he can't predict that market will lose 40% within a week, no one can predict this using some sort of elliot waves and bla bla bla
Hi @smnsz,
I think you're being rude here... @just2random has every right to analyse someone else's analysis to see if they can correctly predict the price action. Without analysis you'll never know if something is successful or not.
If Haejin was 80% accurate like he claims then it would be very difficult to find incorrect predictions. This is clearly not the case.
You're very welcome to your opinion, but please don't say this post is useless, there is absolutely value in it.
Why tell people it's going up if you can predict it's going down?
It's just to get upvotes... that is all.
how the hell he can predict that they will go down? using this elliot waves, there was only signs to go up, but it just doesn't work properly with the crypto, that's it, and you blaming someone for losing your own money
Hi @smnsz,
I haven't lost any money in crypto... I'm very conservative with my investment choices.
I do think you're wrong however... the technical analysis that Haejin does will absolutely show signs and indicators that the market or that particular crypto is trending downwards. Things like a lack of volume, falling through support levels, etc etc will give a skilled market watcher the tools they need to get out of the market.
I don't know why you're fighting for him so hard... he's scamming you my friend. I bet you anything I've given you more upvotes than he has.
lol, he's not scamming me at all, i just wanted to explain that he is doing just a shitty analysis, and nothing else, and for sure there is someone who will follow his predictions, and that's very bad that people will lose the money.
you know in my country people say, that without stupid people the life is bad, that's what he is doing, and unexperienced traders will follow him and do as he says, which will lead to losing money, but it is doesn't mean that he is fraud because of this.
your bet is winning right now, and i haven't give him upvotes as well, i just found out about him when he did the btc analysis, which was not bad at all, and as I see now that it was just the only post where he predicted that something is going down )
The problem is that there is no timeframe to the predictions. Just like if i predict Dow 30,000... we'll get there eventually given that a rising tide raises all boats.
Yep, that's exactly right. Are you supposed to buy immediately on his advice? I suspect there are plenty of bag holders, still waiting for those massive gains.
Generally, speaking if you hold a coin long enough and the community is still active it'll usually get pumped at some stage.
Another set of @haejin fails. He's very clearly a fraud as you say.
Also, I'd never trust a trader that doesn't show his holdings and past performance. Which he never does. It's a sure sign that he's just here to pump SBD.
Exactly, he's probably not even into crypto :-P
It's pretty much a different crypto every day and he doesn't appear to backtrack which suggests there are people holding bags and he doesn't want to remind them.
"And as one commenter said, he probably gained a lot of trust during the BTC Bull run."
Exactly this, everyone is best friends when the markets are up, but when the markets turn around you realize who is actually worth their salt.
This is great... but it's pretty painful.
It feels like a massive long practical joke... I just don't get what RanchoRelaxo gets out of this whole deal. We all need to hurry up and become whales to balance this craziness out... which is made that much more difficult by someone taking 4% of the reward pool and keeping it for themselves.
There are plenty of us that want to be big enough to make a positive impact, but it's expotentially getting harder by the day.

I'm convinced she's cherry picking words off a list to form these predictions.. It would be interesting to run the post text through a word analyser to find the frequency of the words used. I'd wager a few SBD on the prediction that COULD will be the number one word, with EXPLODE a close second.
With PROFIT being a close third.
COULD definately
WAVES and TRIANGLES would certainly be up there.
Words like could gives someone an out when it doesn't happen
It's all about presenting jargon you picked up in-between naps taken during lectures of a minor subject at a university you dropped out from, for example:
My weather blog - follow, upvote - stay tuned: Weathergirl susie: I observe it is cumulonimbus clouds and winds bearing South-south-east at 5kph. It could look like it might rain during some point in the next 12 hours in some locations to a degree of indeterminate coverage (minimum 7 square miles maximum 40 square miles and 0.2mm to maximum 6 mm). After 48 years of being alive, I have observed these phenomenon and clouds and wind offer the highest probability to predict precipitation during months July to August. These are my own opinions, decide for yourself about taking an umbrella".
If there's more ant activity than normal, it's going to rain.
If the birds are suddenly quite, it'll probably storm.
If the bees are out, it's probably not going to be a windy day.
etc. etc.
Thanks! I wanted to check myself into this but it won't be necessary...he will keep doing it because each post makes him hundreds of dollars...
The system needs less biased towards whale power. Can’t expect everyone with some startup money to have morals here even if most of us do
Yeah its too far towards whale power but then again the counter argument is you needed investors to get up and running. It takes money to make money that's a fact of life...but this is at best exploitative behavior and at worst damn near fradulent
Dude wow even a clock is right twice a day lol
Ha, so true.
Good job with this! I have read some of his posts and they seem pretty generic with some lines ontop of some other lines. Why and how he gets that many votes is a mystery.
I don't think he's a fraud, by the definition of the word, but I do think he's overpaid by the community.
The Steemit community prides itself on transparency, and that's why people go to great lengths to confirm their identity in 'IntroduceYourself' posts. We want to deal with real people, and even more so when investing is involved.
Fraud - noun - a person or thing intended to deceive others, typically by unjustifiably claiming or being credited with accomplishments or qualities.
He's no TA even if he can draw triangles on a chart.
