RE: Behind the Scenes on my NFT Plans

in #crypto3 years ago

Deso is very good ole boys club and very hard to get anyone to do anything. It is mostly people who got a crap ton of tokens for free passing them around making money on suckers.

I made a very topical nft and no one cared but you see them spending a fortune on nfts that look like a 2 year old made them.

It's not much different to Hive really. Here on Hive there are cliques and power brokers too, and most people who create on Hive don't get noticed either.

My take is it is all early days for all of it, we don't know which will grow and which will crumble, all we can do is place our bets and try to contribute.

It's much worse, here new users get a ton of support. It may be harder to become the top author, but it is really easy to get started and get some decent support. Many new users make over $100 on their first post. On Deso/Bitclout, you are lucky to even get someone to read your posts.

DeSo is much newer and has a smaller user base (around 1/3 of Hive I think), it's all early days. Heck, remember when Twitter started? Most people on there would tweet once at the start of the day to say what their plans were.
