Yes its profitable if you mine the right coins. I mine using Nicehash so i mine the most profitable coin automatically and then nicehash pay me for mining in bitcoins. Its an easier way to do things as you just need a bitcoin wallet and to download nicehash pretty much. I do overclock my cards to make them mine faster though.
That sounds interesting u should post a tutorial on nice hash id read it!
I have just done a small one take a look and i would be happy to answer any questions.
good point. Is it better than Genesis mining? how much does it cost?
Mining on your own is more profitable and also your buying the equipment so you can sell ir when the difficulty goes down and make some more cash.
However it is more hard work and you do have to have pretty much a heater in you house.
why not do it as a group then? plan ahead and look for a cheap location and go for the best.
I find it easier solo. Less hassle not having to deal with other people. when you start bringing people into it becomes a partnership and your ideals need to match and i don't want things to be like that for me. I like an easy life.
Good point if you understand all the technicals. I agree
Nicehash and minergate are pool mining apps, so you just pool mine mostly then? With that nice setup you have you could probably solo mine some serious monero, dash or also ethereum I bet, I like that you went Asus, I have used them for 15 years love Asus prducts!!
Solo mining is ok but but its more hassle and unpredictable. I like an easy life.
Yeah you make a good point!
I'd love to hear more. I've been trading crypto for a while but I've never mined it. It's something that I'm becoming more interested in with all of the alt coins out there. I've watched some tutorials on how to build the rigs, but I'd love to know how the software interfaces and how the user can actually profit from it.
I have done a basic beginners tutorial for Nicehash and also a little run down on cloud mining on my profile. Check them out.
