Of course the big question remains, which token will it eventually be that they'll accept
That's the question that has driven me to diversify my holdings among the big 3 (BTC, ETH, LTC) and also about a dozen other altcoins. Steem is my biggest holding as this platform and the different forms of the currency create so much opportunity to grow one's holdings.
I'm guessing no one crypto will completely dominate a few years from now and beyond but I'm guessing at least a couple of the ones I'm holding are gonna be major players in the game. And I'll look back at them as the best investments I've ever made. And as I make this reflection however many years in the future, hopefully I will be sitting on a beach somewhere warm and sunny basking in the glory of my new found wealth. That's the dream anyway....
