It's Moooondaaay! Normally I hate em but these days I'm just curious whatever great big crypto news will be announced during the cause of the week. The big players finally seem to get at the table so that all others can't be too far away anymore.
I believe that one hedge fund after the other will put some funds into the cryptosphere and that slowly all the big doubters will change their mind. The future is bright and without a doubt crypto will survive and prosper. They might not take over the world but definitely cover a big part of it.
I feel like the day I can buy a coffee at Starbucks with crypto isn't too far away anymore. Of course the big question remains, which token will it eventually be that they'll accept ;)

I very new to cryptocurrency @steembusiness and have only bought Steem so far and was given a little bit of Smart Cash. But I like hearing the opinions of others, so . . . if you had to guess which coin do you think Starbucks would go with?

That's the question that has driven me to diversify my holdings among the big 3 (BTC, ETH, LTC) and also about a dozen other altcoins. Steem is my biggest holding as this platform and the different forms of the currency create so much opportunity to grow one's holdings.
I'm guessing no one crypto will completely dominate a few years from now and beyond but I'm guessing at least a couple of the ones I'm holding are gonna be major players in the game. And I'll look back at them as the best investments I've ever made. And as I make this reflection however many years in the future, hopefully I will be sitting on a beach somewhere warm and sunny basking in the glory of my new found wealth. That's the dream anyway....
I came across an article scanning the headlines last night that says the Rockefeller money is now finding its way into crypto. This is on the heels of the announcement that the fund manager for Soros received permission to invest in crypto.
The big money is coming...lending some validity that the powers that are pushed the price of crypto down so they could buy it on the cheap.
Either way, we are seeing major changes in the crypto world.
