I wouldnt feel anything. People have different means of contributing to a community. Some people are content creators while others are funders. I am more in the middle, I like to help with my funds and also my words. Comments, curation, upvoting and a combination of all is the way I want to do it. I am just trying to figure out steemit. Only been on here a week so still learning

if you want to be well off do what the well off guy are doing, if u want to be where you are keep doing what u are doing.
this seems like an advise but it is not easy for 200k to be some throwaway money for people. Fingers are not equal. Some struggled to steemit to better their life. Others are already well-to-do.
When everyone acts out of self interest the community does not thrive. Because I haven't invested 200k in steem means I am not well off? I don't have a problem with you using your money to make more money, but that doesnt necessarily help the community. Maybe if you looked for good content and upvoted that as well. Acting out of self interest will not help this community thrive

That's wrong, an Upvote would generate new Steems on the fly which would dilute the pool of Steems and decrease the overall value for all the investors. Of course it cost something.
I'm not trying to be ignorant, I'm trying to understand and learn more about Steemit. How does it dilute the pool of steem if the pool is the same everyday?

I disagree with your view , if I buy a vote from him he gets no rewards from the reward pool it takes it from me. Then that vote gives me more steempower and then when I vote other people if also gives them more steempower because I have more.
