RE: One million steem disappears to pump the price of steem

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Great video and nice catch! I am wondering if it is just a glitch or delay and all the liquid steem is in fact sitting in their accounts, we just aren't seeing it yet?

That seems like the most likely scenario to me, although I really hope it is being burned some how...

One million steem consolidated into one account, and I played myself

I'm gonna spread this post around to see if we can get some answers ;)

That is very likely an account owned by Dan.

[EDIT] - Fair enough, @ned. But I was just basing that on what I had seen yesterday about the accounts and some chatter from other longstanding users. I haven't looked into it further. If you say that you don't know who this person is, then I will have to take you at your word. My apologies.

yeah, he wants to make fun of me using the cheat sheet, I know because he replied to me when i first said I would use it, and the word "freedom" is what I have used as the first tag in majority of my blog posts

Based on what? I can tell you Dan and I don't know who owns that account or the associated ones

If this is all true, Dan is one clever fellow... with a great sense of humor I might add ;)

Maybe Dan changed your steem buy button to steem power buy button and it wasn't your mistake.

Toying with the traders may just be a little side benefit. Since the @freedom account name was created back in March, it may have been chosen as a jab but only as a little bonus. Hasn't Dan blogged quite a bit about ideas for a universal basic income token system? I still speculate if those accounts are his, he's just pooling for a new project or two...

yes, the pooling of all those mysterious accounts allows for more transparency, better in the long run
