I understand your frustrations with Poloniex and I'm not defending them, but consider this study done on the growing number of people in the crypto currency world published on May 5, 2017. This was at the beginning of May when market cap was at 45 billion. Since then the number of exchanges and users has nearly tripled in a span of less than 2 months! Scaling hardware to handle the new customers and money is one thing, but scaling your support network is another game entirely. I know they are not saints, but give them a break maybe?
My primary concern with Polo is the withdrawal system. Withdrawals are many times 'stuck' without a proper message explaining why. As user, that concerns me because I do not know whether the 'stuck'iness of withdrawals is purely a techincal result of the payment procedures of Polo or a MtGox type of issue (=no coins).
Polo would be well advised to upgrade its withdrawal process.
I missed out on Status :( And I even lost some ETH because I ran out of gas a couple of times! I dont know whether I should bother trying Civic, since I'll be up till late again for nothing.
Honestly I don't think Status was that much of a miss. A 270 million dollar ICO is insane and sets the marketcap really high. I see it being dumped when it hits exchanges so just wait till 2 days after getting on Bittrex then buy if you really want to.
Well Status is a great project but I think it's kind of overpriced even at the ICO. Maybe when it hits the exchange, people can get it for a lower price.
Apart from that Cofound.it hit the exchanges yesterday and seems to be a great project at its core. Its currently trading on bittrex and underpriced quite a bit. Have a look at that if you want.

Granted, the high ICO proceeds will result me looking into this coin. Can't get any better than this looking at the insane amount of cash collected.
