We keep seeing headlines about automated McDonalds and how automation will replace fast food and construction workers but what about middle management? Who's gonna need teams of accountants/administrators once they build sidechains to manage payroll, invoicing, contract execution, etc.?
I think about this often. There are centralized applications that already automate most HR/Accounting functions. But adoption is so low. You only see adoption in startups. Companies with deep rooted processes simply cannot make the change. It's coming, but I think it might be a long time.
