Recovery From The Rubble Of A 32% SBD Decrease

in #cryptocurrency8 years ago

Building On The SBD Rubble:

The overall brutal cryptocurrency correction that occurred in the last couple of days really hit Steem Dollars hard, leading to a 32% decline in price. Definitely disappointing! Just a few days ago, I was considering buying more Steem Dollars as an investment! Glad I waited at the first sign of warning from BTC and ETH.

Planning Long-Term Steemit Investments

With such a rapid expansion in growth in the cryptocurrency realm, it is reassuring to see a pullback, which denotes a healthy market with hopes for more sustained, steady growth in the future. There is a boatload of optimism about where Steemit is headed in the next couple months as we gain thousands of users daily and more recognition from social media users. Lets be honest, Facebook & Twitter are shells of their former selves, as more and more people become tired of the numerous centralized features of a mega-company that feeds off of marketing ploys and self-promotion tactics.

Love this quote from Warren himself that also aptly applies to the cryptocurrency world:

After a few more days of analyzing SBD prices, I will definitely buy more as an investment and experiment. It's definitely possible that the price of SBD and Steem shoots up to a few dollars soon. Take advantage of this cheap price to buy up more coins while you have the chance.

And above all,

Watch and wait, the patience will pay off

Awesome post mate, definitely with you on the long-term investment! Steem on!

You're talking! Your Intro post went viral! Nice work

Heh well I wouldn't call it viral per se, but I'm truly happy the community welcomed me like that :)) Only gave me even more of a push to try to post awesome content moving forward, I will try to have something really nice up in the next day or two. Thanks again mate, Steem on!!

All things worthwhile deserve time! Steem on.

This is the problem with steem-backed dollars! They are meant to always be worth one dollar of STEEM. They aren't supposed to fluctuate like they are doing now. No matter how the market is moving, a steem-backed dollar should always cost $1.

Yea it shouldn't be volatile, hinging on the success or failures of larger altcoins

I liked the way you tweaked the comments of Warren Buffett @lukekelley
