That's a pretty bullshit response. I never indicated that I like heavy marketing teams or even that this is what I was expecting from the Komodo team. In fact I f**king hate the BS ICOs that suck in millions and use lots of BS flash marketing. They give the crypto-community a very bad name. For some reason though, people still seem to throw millions at these assholes. ($250 million for Tezos? WTF?)
Regardless of whether a team develops in a garage to start is irrelevant, but if they ever want to be taken seriously beyond a small set of crypto-groupies that love their coin, they need to show some level of professionalism. This is true with any business. If you don't get this then it's not worth even typing this response.
The Komodo team are being dumbshits if they don't realize this simple truth as well. They then lose out, and the people that hold their coin also lose out. Take Dash as an example. This is a team that knows how to sell their coin, and to all their stakeholders. Do you think Amanda B. Johnson has a huge marketing budget? F**k no. She's just smart, articulate, and represents their product well. (At least she's figured out how to use a videocamera and microphone though.) This is all it takes. So stop being so emotional about the fact that the Komodo team screwed up and I'm calling it out for what it was. They did. Get over it.
