Be warned, this story was made up by my 12 year old son ...
Once upon a time, an alcoholic plane pilot carrying a valuable cargo of XUN coins (and randomly dynamite), was supping on his vodka whilst flying over the Pacific Ocean.
Too drunk to notice the storm ahead of him, he didn't even attempt to navigate around it. My eight year old is now getting involved ... I apologize ... suddenly Dumbo the flying elephant came out of the storm and the pilot, to drunk to avoid him, crashed into him killing a beloved childhood cartoon character and causing the plane of goodies to crash.
Ok ok, not a great story ... forget the story. A plane has crashed spreading and burying loads of valuable XUN and Dynamite all over an island in the middle of Pacific ocean. The island has now become known as the Isle of Crypto and has attracted treasure hunters from all over the world.
How to Play
- Game ends Friday 9th March at 18:00 GMT
- You get 3 guesses at coordinates a day in a comment i.e. 1A , 5Y, 8Z
- If you resteem this post (I will check), you get a legendary shovel and 1 extra coordinate (4 guesses per day) until the end of the game
- If you find any kind of dynamite you get an extra go that can be used at anytime (see key under map for powerup details)

C23 - You trek back to the docks and head west along the cost. You dig where the beach meets the hills but don't find anything
J11 - You head back north and decide to take some time checking the bottom of the river. You also stink from all the trekking around the island so could do with the wash. After swimming around and diving for a few hours .... you don't find anything. You are also covered in leeches :(

J23 - You don't go far from the docks and dig it the north right store house after observing that someone had already tried the south right corner (maybe they know something?) ... You find nothing
M24 - You search and dig under a nearby house but find nothing.
L20 - You discover a cave just north of the docks and dig around the entrance but find nothing although the cave seems to be filled with old barrels of rum from the pirate days. It's now 2018 ... is rum drinkable after all this time????

Can you clarify your guess please. The dynamite is an extra go and you only need to chose 1 coordinate. It will blow up and unearth the 3 additional coordinates around it as shown in the pattern i.e. if you choose N5 then N6, O5 and O6 will also be included.

B5 - Starting at the little island of the north west coast, there is an area between said island and some rocks you wanted to try. There is nothing to be found.
C5 - You dig around the shoreline at the north of the little island but find nothing.
B7 - Digging around the south side of the little island turns up nothing.
C7 - A little way around the shoreline you start digging again but find nothing of value.
Watching the sun set over the island from the boat as it sails away, you ponder if one more day would have allowed you to make that life changing find. You are also blissfully unaware of the storm that is waiting for you back home with all those videos that have been leaked on Pornhub and emailed to all your friends and family.

B11 - This mornings destination is in the shallows between a small island and the shoreline on the west coast. It's so shallow here you can wade it. You search the seafloor for hours but find nothing.
Y19 - You try the east coast. Another little island and you again search between the beach and island. Deeper here than the last spot, you notice something sticking out of the seafloor on your first dive ............
A little drying out in the sun and this should still work.
E17 - You head west and decide to dig in a area where the hills curl around north of the docks but find nothing.
S3 - You head north into the mountains, pick a prime spot and start digging but yet again don't find a thing.

Desperate to repeat the success of the first day you scoff down your breakfast and get an early start.
G10 - You head north to the river and follow it until your reach it's mouth. The logic is that if anything landing in the river that it had to have come here. Luckily it is very shallow here and the water only comes up to your waist. After searching all morning .... nothing is found
H10 - Maybe something got lodged a little further up the river. More hours wasted.
I18 - You head back towards the docks and into the hills. Realizing you forgot your morning poo as was in such a hurry, you have to stop here to sort that out. Whilst squatting, you notice something pocking from the ground ..................
. That's going to do some damage.
I19 - A little further south in the hills you try your luck again but find bugger all.

You wake up after thinking of a system to use today that cannot fail. Can it? Excited you head out.
A1 - Finding a rowing boat you head out to sea of the cost of the north west of the island. All your swimming lessons you did as a child come in handy as you start diving looking for treasure. Hours pass and you are knackered and have not found a thing.
B1 - You get back in the boat and row east a little way. More hours of diving don't result in any finds.
E1 - Get in, repeat and dive ... nothing
F1 - Get in, repeat and dive .... nothing
Lesson learned not to follow your dreams you head back to the docks for the night.

K24 - You decide to stick around the docks this morning as you overheard the other treasure hunters mention the docks have not been searched very much. You try an old house but find nothing but spiders and a nest of rats.
K25 - The other side of the house you find a very creepy looking child's doll but nothing else
L24 - Now to the other end of the house. Nothing turns up.
L25 - The last part of the house is also empty.

M13 - Having a feeling about the banks of the river, you head near to the spot you dug earlier but on the south bank. Nothing is found.
L2 - Heading north into the mountains you reach the north coast of the island were not many treasure hunters have ventures and start digging ..... nada

Probably not the greatest idea generating that made up sob story and doing that JustGiving campaign for money but at least it got you to the island. You finally arrive and the other treasure hunters pick on you for being the newbie. You head out immediately to find your fortune.
J7 - Heading north towards the mountains, you come across a large cave and decide to start your fist dig just above it in the mountains but find nothing.
I8 - You decide to dig around the mouth of the cave. The first spot turns up nothing but animal bones.
J8 - You try the other side of the cave entrance and find a box half buried in the mud ..... YOU HAVE ONLY GONE AND FOUND 25 XUN ... NEWBIE MY ARSE!!!

You didn't have a good sleep last night which could have been something to do with that funny looking mushroom you found and cooked for supper plus all the rainbows and giant flying butterfly's you were hallucinating afterwards for hours. Exhausted you head out for another day treasure hunting.
H11 - Exploring the mouth of the river, you decide to start on the south bank a little further inland. AFter digging for a while you find nothing.
R10 - You follow the river to the waterfall. You have a strange feeling that there is something here. Deciding to dig on the West side of the waterfall you don't find anything
S2 - You head north into the mountains, find a spot and dig. You find an old coke can ... how did that get here?
G7 - You head back tot he mouth of the river and then head north along the shore. After finding the perfect spot you start digging but find nothing but shells.
C27 - Deflated, you head back towards camp in the docks and to cheer yourself up, you decide to blow something up. You use a little rowing boat and head west just off shore from the docks and throw in the primed dyanmite (as you have chosen the bottom of the map, I have inverted the pattern of projected blast C27, C26, D26, D27 are unearthed). You get away just in time but not far enough before dead fish start raining down on you and also something else .................. YOU HAVE FOUND 100 XUN (D27)

Almost time for a new shovel. All this digging is hard work!

You wake up really confident armed with your massive bundle of dynamite. However, you decide to save that until last.
W15 - You have not washed for a while and stink so you decide to try your hand at diving for treasure in the natural bay under the shadow of Skull Mountain. You are now clean but find nothing.
W16 - Leaving the bay, you fall over the slippy bank and face plant some kind of animal feces. You decide to have another wash and explore the bottom part of the bay. After several hours you find nothing.
C15 - You head for the hill on the west coast of the island but have no luck here.
C16 - Keeping with the hills area, you head slightly south but are still unable to find anything ..... were you a little too cocky this morning and jinxed yourself?????
You still have your trump card left and are looking forward to blowing up a large area of the island. You decide on the hills to the east of the docks and not many other have tried there. Setting a long long fuse, you light it and run away as fast as your legs can take you ............ BBBBOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!
A massive area has been unearthed Q24, Q25, Q26, P24, P25, P26, R24, R25, R26 and the explosion scares the crap out of all the other treasure hunters based in the docks. You go back to the hills and see what was unearthed ..... (Q25) 25 XUN Found, (P26) 25 XUN Found. Happy with your finds your return to the docks and rub all the other treasure hunters noses in it

This is your last day on the island and the boat will leave this evening. You have found some treasure but not quite enough to retire. You set out for one last bash at finding the mother load.
K23 - You stay around the docks and search part of an old tavern. A broken mug, a dice and rat dropping is all you find.
L23 - You try the other side of the tavern but this turns up nothing. You cough, it's very dusty in here.
T3 - You head north to have one last go in the mountains. Nothing is found.
T4 - Slightly south you try again and break your legendary shovel.
That evening, you view the sun setting over the Island from the deck of the boat as you leave. There is over 2000 XUN still out there ... if I only had 1 more day.
