First off, Trevon James and Craig Grant are promoting it, and if that isn't the first sign of this is fucking scam, then I don't know what the hell is.
Secondly, the website actually tells you it's a scam, and some of their sponsors include BitConnect, Mt. Gox, and yes... even Bitcoin Cash!
All of these things combined, and yet people are still investing and you know why, because they are gamblers, and believe that they will get out with millions before the next guy... but sadly they are just going to lose all their fucking money.
I'm sorry people, but after witnessing the fall of every prominent cryptocurrency lending platform, among tons of other scams including but not limited to, the great sell-off of Litecoin from Chuck Lee, and the rise and fall of the McAfee shill train, we should all be so much smarter than this now... but people still continue to show the world just how dumb they really are.
I'm sorry, but if you mess with this shit, and get burnt, I have absolutely no sympathy for you whatsoever, and your money was probably better off in someone else's hands in the first place.
End rant...
I resteemd this and im so glad someone finally said something about it. I did see mr sotko post a video about Trevon shilling this a while back
Im sorry but P3D didnt sound like a good idea from the getgo, even Trevon said he doesnt know how long the site will be up for. I can't understand why people are falling for these things?
I went to the site it didnt even show a single face of any of the team members same with BCC, Davor and Falcon coins site. The warning signs are simple but they are there! Stay away
Hey, I appreciate the re-Steem, and the people who created the site actually tell you that it's a scam, so I'm guessing once they have about 10 million dollars worth of Ethereum, they will exit and live happily ever after on some island in the Pacific... people are fucking stupid.
I saw this video. The coin is hysterical. This is a complete parody.
They know as well as you do that it’s a pyramid. They just did so well in the last one that they want to jump in early on this one too.
Ha ha, but this time, I could see them inching too far as the gamblers that they are, and finally losing it all. Hell, Trevon James has even started powering down his Steem, just so he could put it all in this thing.
Pyramids are like picking pennies in front of a steamroller
I’m sure they feel they are better than most and can’t lose.
These people just love to gamble, but you know what they say... the house always wins!
Actually, this is a great study in human behavior. It will reveal not just the level of stupidity, but also hubris and greed. And in the end pain and bewilderment.
Here is what is on PonziCoin’s website:
Our Incredible Journey
We hope everyone had a good laugh😊 But we have to shut down. This was a parody art performance/joke. I did not “run off” with the money. I never sold any of my PonziCoins, and the contract was drained from other users withdrawing. Please be careful when investing in shady cryptocurrencies, especially ones that look like pyramid schemes – it’s a zero sum game and money doesn’t appear out of thin air.
Speaking about money out of thin air, where are we supposed to think Steem comes from?
Ha ha, that is fucking great!
Oh, and Steem is created, along with Steem Backed Dollars via postings. When a post is created and up-voted, it creates more Steem and Steem Dollars after 7 days have passed. If no one creates anything, no new Steem or Steem Dollars are created.
That's how I gather it anyway, your thoughts my friend?
This is the video I mentioned. A bit long but an interesting point of view and not just the blowing of steam up Steem's ass you tend to get here:
The Great Steemit Debate: Tone Vays vs. Jeff Berwick "Ponzi Scheme or Paradigm Shift?
I really don’t know as I did not read the white paper.
But, based on a video debate I saw on youtube back in December, I am under impression that it is doubled every year and distributed based on a proof of stake mechanism. So, the more you have the more of a share of the annual inflation you get.
I can’t remember who it was but the guy had excerpts from the white paper, charts, etc. He liked the website and the platform, but was totally negative on the economic model.
I haven’t really done any digging into the subject myself.
Hey @tolkatore!
Wait, what? Craig Grant and Trevon James are still promoting scams? I thought they're facing a lawsuit for Shilling Bitconnect. Seeing Craig Grant and Trevon James isn't just the first sign of a scam, to me, it is enough to not touch it at all. It is unbelievable how many scams there are and also how many people invest into seemingly obvious scams. I don't know whether or not they're aware of the scam or taking the risk on purpose. The number of people believing Bitconnect wasn't a scam was just too damn high. I also agree with what you say about the other people on the list, with one Exception: Charlie Lee. At first, I also thought that this Litecoin sell-off is somewhat fishy. But I watched some interviews and followed his tweets and started to understand where he's coming from. I consider him a genuine person who is all in for the success of Litecoin. He was just sick of the conflict of interest caused by his large holdings of Litecoin. I think in the end, everyone needs to decide for themselves. In my story, Charlie Lee belongs to the good guys. 🤓
Cheers - @sblue
I guess him selling at all-time highs just put a bad taste in my mouth, and then him going off and shilling Nano afterwards just put me over the edge.
I respect your opinion and understand where you're coming from. Indeed there was a tweet where he talked about nano and the timing didn't make it look better. Whether you like Charlie Lee or not, can he really be compared to McAfee? Which to me appears like a whole new level shill. The master of them all. He almost made it a profession with all the adds, tweets, interviews, media coverage - all this ICO shilling and the crazy statements. I mean... damn... thats nuts 😅
I guess I added Chuck Lee to make a point in my article, that even the most prominent figures in the space could possibly be scammers, to make sure people stay on their toes.
It's definitely a good thing to make sure people stay on their toes. It's better to check twice than regret it afterwards. Keep it up! 👍
Ha ha, too true, and I appreciate the support as always my friend.
They are addicted to ponzies, what a bunch of idiots
Yes, they definitely are, but I do believe this one is going to burn them really bad... because karma is a bitch!
Resteemed, thanks for the warning!
My pleasure bud, and thanks for spreading the word!
Eye-opening post, thanks pal.
No problem bud, and be careful out there!
Let them loose all the money than they will realise that staying with a gambler is the biggest mistake.
They all going to get burnt!
Yes for sure there is no doubt in that.
upvoted and reateem
thanks for writing
Just checked your page, and it doesn't seem like you re-Steemed it mate?
The Tolkatore Fact Checking agents are hard at work :)
Yeah, I don't fuck around, if I'm going to up-vote someone for re-Steeming my crap, they gotta actually do it.
"In warned war there is no valid corpse" :D :D
Good post @tolkatore! as they say out there, war warned does not kill soldier, right? hehehe
