RE: Do you get curation poachers, too?

in #curation5 years ago

These days, if you look at how the post rewards are distributed, it seems like the author gets about 55% of the value.

I guess the "lost curation portion" went back to the reward pool. I imagine that benefit authors more than curators. But no, I have not done the math.

Those snipers have to know about the 5 minute window?
Are they that ignorant?
All for .001 sp?

I'm calling bs.

They also vote with tiny power...like 1% or less.

The point is to get more out of the vote you put in. To them, any curation reward that is equal to or greater than their vote value is a win. This is especially true when their vote is ridiculously tiny.

Money grubbin' idiots, imo.

Well, don't tell them that because I agree. It's not working for them.

Take @tonimontana and @stmdev, for example, they are literally gaining nothing. But, they do prevent other people for gaining meaningful curation. At least, that's what I see from Steem World anyhow.

Maybe that's what they are going for? Sabotaging curation rewards in general?

.

Do they actually not? Ha, didn't know that.

Well, I guess STEEM curation rewards are just collateral damage in this case.

It is an option, they can have it.
Same with early voting, they can have time agnostic voting.

That is my guess.
They are just being dicks.
