It's a quick and easy measuring system that leverages social accountability and financial incentives to encourage everyone toward their own health goals.

How to Score Yourself

Everyone should score themselves based on their own health goals and understandings. There is no financial incentive to score high, but rather only to participate.

So don't worry about what your score is. Just focus on consistently measuring every day. Most people will have their fair share of 1s and 0s. It’s just as important to record low scores on “bad” days as it is to record high scores on “good” days. You can always do better tomorrow!

Studies suggest that just measuring your health is the first step toward a healthier life.

but shouldn't you distribute more then just the dollars? After all there may be zero. Keep the 50% SP but distribute the rest.
You can make the § go for one and the steem to another person, and the person is decided through lots, the lots are being the number they have. (cheaters?)

Thanks for your feedback! All feedback is helpful and will be consisderd moving froward. There are indeed many things to consider moving forward... sliding payout percentage between STEEM and SD, scalability, funding, consistency between activities, simplicity, etc. Thanks for your patience as we work all these things out.

It's important that we have the funds available to scale and continue to run these application. For instance, Steem Sports pays out 70% of their liquid revenue as rewards and retains 30% to run and develop their operation.

We'll be releasing a more formal proposal to the community once we have a little more info to run on.

I got 4 of 5, no meditation. maybe add sleep to the mix?

Yeah, sleep is an interesting one to consider, I initially left it out of the top 5 because I thought is was a harder thing to actively control, at least for everyone. For instance, you could go to bed at you're desired time and still have a bad sleep. I'll consider the "sleep" option more... in the meantime feel free to customize your interpretation of these questions to include it in your overall 5 point score. Hopefully we'll eventually have an app that can go into more detail if desired.

I don't think grocery shopping constitutes exercising...and a nap doesn't = meditating. LOL I've got another 0 today! :o/

shopping IS exercise...yup yup yup.....and napping woks if you focus on your breaths....I'd give you the point mere.....drinking coffee is also exercise if you have a large heavy mug....truth.
