Cool idea!
I live in Austria and I think the Waltz (back in the 18th century) was the last real dance out of Austria that became "world popular". I live in Vienna and there is a lot of classic music events here like operas, theaters and ball dances,... but that is not my scenery at all.
Here in Vienna we got a quite big nightlife scene with all sorts of dances (of course depending on the music playing). I love the diversity here there is literally something for everyone in this city.
For me personally: the drunker I get the better I dance (at least that's the impression I get 😂)
Will be fun to follow this and see other cultures dances.
