RE: Ein Brief an alle Freunde der Wissenschaft / A letter to all science geeks

Very well said my friend!
Speaking as a slowly growing minnow, I agree 100% with what you say.
It is very uncomfortable and sad to keep looking at the trending page to see posts that shouldn't deserve such a high reward for the quality they offer. While on the other hand we can see minnows struggling a lot to achieve even $0.50 to form part in the network.
I need to say that if it wasn't for SteemSTEM community, I would not be that happy posting about any interesting science topic that goes on mind.
So, what I think, we should keep fighting to keep this community of STEM forward. To grow with the whole community, together. To make it bigger in the Steemit world.
And to do that we should keep encouraging people, newcomers to the platform or even growing people like me, to write quality post, with research, or with interesting topics.

I posted quality content even before finding out about SteemSTEM. Some have made exactly 0$. I think that the whales are just complacent and don't realize the unique opportunity that the system gives science. But as they grow they might start to realize that the world is not just memes and photography contests.
