RE: Bringing the Steemit community together to fight Suicide and Depression

in #depression7 years ago

They are true words, and honestly, if you are looking for understanding, I am around :).
I am in a family of 5 and feeling alone happens more often than not.
Isn't Steemit a great place? I am surprised at the amount of people that can show they care, people I don't even know. Gives a feeling of importance. A great team :D xx

@maverickinvictus and @foxyspirit, you both are awesome and just remember, we are all in this life together. We need to look after one another.

Indeed DV! We are all part of a bigger consciousness that is the whole of the human race.

Very true! <3

Thank you ^_^ looking after one another is the way to be. <3

Steemit is amazing and the fact that you can talk to someone and connect regardless of the distance, age or preference in life is just awesome.

I wouldn't have met a lot of great people if I just stayed in Facebook and in my tiny bubble.

Facebook is a huge pocket of negativity. I only saw to what point after I became a member on here. I think it also puts us in a bubble and be disconnected even though it says we are. It's not in the right way in my opinion.

I feel exactly the same about Facebook and YouTube. It encourages negative spirals. I needed to get away from the argument baiting that happens there and my friend introduced me to Steemit. FB makes no one feel good. Steemit is so much better.

I agree FS! it had placed us in a bubble that was full of negativity and Fake news and the sponsored ads sometimes drives me crazy!

I only log into facebook every few days to check on my business page. Other than that, I am sick of the political arguing and other crap on there.

It's the same for me. I have my baking business page there and a few friends that I talk to on there that are not on steemit. MMM... mostly 3, the rest... busy lives. The only good thing I have to say about fb other than I am able to have a business page on there is the part where I got to meet my step sisters (same dad). But it's rare still to talk to them.
