I was right to wait on this post until after I got home from work for the day...had I listened to the songs before work I would have been an emotional wreck for the rest of the day and it would have affected my performance. This hits home for me way too hard, because I recently lost one of my brothers from the ship a couple of weeks ago to suicide. I still haven't quite processed everything and it still kills me to know that he was going through so much darkness and decided that he couldn't reach out to any of us. Thank you for this post, @derangedvisions.
