Well just another cell phone picture but I think the light was just right on it. There are tons of massive pieces of driftwood like this in the pacific northwest. After every storm, you can see giant tree sections scattering the beaches then they get sunbleached and weathered the longer they sit there. Artists take some of them and turn them into some cool sculpture and functional pieces.
