ahhh yeah I am extremely careful with very fresh white belts, especially with guys. They tend to use 100% strength and don't know how to manage it. I got hurt like that before, and am not repeating the mistakes, so I simply don't roll with them until they get some more experience. Better to avoid injuries that way...

I want to train, but I cannot afford to be hurt over and over. The last time I got injured the instructor was there to see it and rightfully called my partner out for it. I was still injured though.

People tend to try and roll with people of equal skill and experience too, so new people like me get stuck with other new people. Then I get kneed in the ear, my arm is tweaked, etc. It's just not a good situation.

The only option I've considered is paying a higher belt to roll with me even though they normally would not, and then I'd learn in a safer environment and more quickly.
