Happy International Dance day everyone! I’ve compiled a video some of my favorite spinner combos learned from pole class for the month in honor of celebrating this special day. Dance, particularly pole has grown for a passion so much for me in these last two years. I pour a lot of heart, energy, and time into this sport I love so much!

To me, pole is an art, a dance, that challenges me in so many ways. People dance to express themselves through movement, and it is obvious that the feel of a dance comes from within. I started learning in class about 2.5 years ago, and since then have competed and showcased for my studio! I also love that it brings together so many people from diverse backgrounds, countries, and interests with their love for this challenging art.

“Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire.”

Thank you so much :)

You are welcome, friend 😀

Your drive vedio I like it. Thank you..

Thank you very much! :)

I am very glad to hear this. Because you'll have to do something in life. You've got to keep your hold on. And I hope that one day you can win the public's mind. Dancing is a dance

Aww thank you! Hahah it wins my own heart :P makes me happy!

A burning spirit of spirit. You do something very interesting, the art of pole dance is amazing and really very challenging. You are doing with a very happy heart. Good luck always for you @polebird.

Thanks my friend! I do feel so much joy from dance! Appreciate all your support!

You are welcome my friend 😊.

you are expert in pole dance. Doesn't seem you are still 2.5 years old in this field. keep it up. All the best @polebird

I came to say the same thing! While some physical aspects of course conditioning and strength training will impact the length of the growth curve for completing some moves on an individual basis, @polebird has also done a great job of sharing not only the level of mastery she has attained now, but where she started and how she continues to dedicate herself to growing further.

Happy international dancing day!!

Hehe thank you so much @thedreamsteem for those kind words! Yeah, I had no idea I would be at this level when I started. At that point a shoulder mount was totally out of reach and spins were pretty hard! :P

Hahah I’m far from expert, but it IS really cool to look back and see how far I’ve come along from the days of uncoordination. Thank you so much :)

Nice! Going to upvote you later when I have better VP

Aww thank you!! Happy dance day to you my friend!

Happy International Dance Day Jess:)

Thank you Xabi!!! 🤗

Happy Dance Day!!! my dear friend.
I totally understand how you feel about the beautiful art of dancing.
You have accomplished so much in those 2.5 years. Huge congrats @polebird

Thank you always for your encouragement and kind words! It’s great to see when effort pays off :) happy dance day to you!

Very nice moves. You seem to have mastered spinning so much.

Dance on.

Hehe thank you my friend! It definitely helps when you can use the momentum to your advantage 😝

:). It was really a superb display. Was the songs playing along or you added it as background during video editing?

Background! There was other songs and people shouting :) originally

Ok. The songs were fitting to the moves. :)

Great work. I love how you always bring out the art in your craft. Makes me want to explore more creatively in my writing.

Aww thank you! Love hearing that! Keep creating :)

Amazing one once again! :)

Thank you so much!! :)

Do you not get friction burns? I just don't get it, how is it enough to grip yet slippy enough to spin. Friggin mental, seriously impressive though!

Haha you can get some friction burns and your skin does have to get used the pole. But once it’s past that.. it’s all good.. until you try a new spot on the skin hahah! Well, in this case the pole is also spinning, so it’s not AS MUCH friction as you are thinking - it’s more about having the grip to stay whether its in the hands or a knee pit or elbow, etc. Although you can do some serious momentum dynamic moves on a static pole too!
