Steemit Edit: I've been playing with various STEEM related services lately like Zappl (you can see my first Zap here) and ChainBB where I introduced the cryptocurrency forum. It's fun to see so many cool projects showing up, just be careful where you use your keys.

I'm leaving for the airport soon for my trip to Steemfest. It's going to be a long day as I show up tomorrow morning. I'm excited and anxious. :)

Sort:

Wow, so many new blockchain services showing up in the decentralised world. They may be small today, but there is a real chance that users will. migrate away from big-brother ad-dominated mega-corporations.

I know somehow I am part of this great capitalist world because my pension plan probably owns funds which own Amazon, Facebook, Google, Twitter and so on. I don’t agree with it but I can’t tell them what to do.

When the dust settles, at least I’ll have my bitcoin.

hola amigo veo el precio del bitcoin y me pongo triste porque ayer cambie una pequeña cifra que manejo de bitcoin a dolar pensando que podía bajar hoy, se que meti la pata. jajaja. que tenga feliz viaje amigo @lukestokes.

¡Jaja! He perdido la cuenta de cuántas veces lo he hecho desde 2013. Todo está bien. ¡Gracias!

thanks for sharing @lukestokes

What would bitcoin do?

touched $6400 as per coinmarketcap.

@lukestokes - I am yet to embrace crypto fully. Have a couple of toes in the water - hoping to find it warm and welcoming. LOL.
Will check out DMania. Recently started using Busy.org and found it to be fast and useful.
Wish you a safe and comfy trip as well as a fantastic Steemfest2.

@vm2904

I wonder when the next accumulation time for bitcoin will be?

It can't continue to go up forever ... can it?

I read this in 2013 and still agree with it: https://falkvinge.net/2013/03/06/the-target-value-for-bitcoin-is-not-some-50-or-100-it-is-100000-to-1000000/

In other words, we ain't seen nothing yet.

Thanks for being such a great witness. Good luck at Steemfest!

Have a easy flight and lots of fun at Steemfest!

Hahaha! Love the post! I'm all in into cryptocurrency since a couple of years now. Well except some physical assets like a block apartment. I've duly accepted it.

@teamsteem, my interview with lukestokes will be played on the show today, come listen in if you are free at 4pm EST. :-)

Enjoy the steamfest very much.

UNTIL YOU STOP UPVOTING SCAMMERS LIKE https://steemit.com/@steemed-open I'M GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOUR POSTS

She’s not a scammer, she’s my wife. Luke knows her personally in real life also. I’m not sure why you’ve gotten the impression that she’s a scammer, but it’s a wrong one, I assure you. I suggest a truce.

Your suggestion has been denied.

Bernie, my rep score is far superior to that of any of your various accounts. And while you have an account or two with more steem power than I do, I can literally fix that anytime I like with the click of a few buttons (Luke Stokes can vouch for my capacity to do that). I’m not looking for a war, and I’m clueless as to why you’d want to start one, but if so, so be it. I assure you that I’ll win it. As I explained, @steemed-open is my wife, she’s been here since nearly the beginning, and she regularly posts (though less regularly lately) good content, some of which you’ve been kind enough to vote up in the past. Her duplicate posts yesterday were simply a result of a bug in Steemit’s front end (you yourself have called the Steemit websiste shit) and she immediately corrected it once it was brought to her attention. Why you would assume (despite her long history here and her good rep score) that she was trying to “scam” somebody by doing something so stupid as to post the same thing five times is beyond me. I hope you’ll reconsider now that we’ve provided more information.

Hey Bernie. I just got back from Lisbon last night, so I haven't caught up on Steemit drama yet. Hopefully you and I can chat about your concerns in Steemit chat when you're in the mood to do so. I have about 50-60 authors and friends I support on Steemit via Steemvoter because (IMO) they have consistently provided value to the platform or I want to encourage them to get started with a vote from me (many have not posted on Steemit yet). As it relates to @steemed-open, I'll look into it...

Ah, I see what you may be referring to? Multiple duplicated posts due to steemit front-end issues. I see they still have some auto votes from me and others. I just removed my votes on those posts which now just say "deleted." Unfortunately this has happened to quite a few people who see an error when posting and just keep posting instead of checking the blockchain to see if it went though. It happened to someone else I vote for while I was flying out to Lisbon and it seems it happened again while flying back. I try to keep track of my votes very closely and thankfully both of these situations where caught prior to any rewards pool payout. I'l be going through all my recent votes to ensure there aren't any other similar situations.

Knowing @steemed-open personally, I'm quite confident she is not intentionally trying to scam anyone, but as I said, I'd be happy to discuss this with you in chat if you want to.

I believe this is only accident caused by the bugs of steemit. Now, I always get error message even when the post is submitted successfully. So, I use the following steps to submit my post at steemit:

  1. Submit post and expect an error
  2. Open another window to open my page to find out whether it's posted or not
  3. If posted, go back the the submit page and clear the draft

It's more painful to modify the post. Because, it's not easy to use the above method to verify whether it's modified or not.

Because of this hassle and because the new color of the links in steemit, I moved to busy.org.

There is a guy who intended to spam steem with 100-300 comments with bot. He has the reputation of 69 and he was former member of steemcleaners. I reported this to patrice. Unfortunately, patrice doesn't admit it's spam.

After I revealed the facts, the spammer came to retaliate. He and his bot @s4s came to downvote me many times. He harassed me, cursed me, and threatened me publicly on the block chain. He even banned my account at steemit.chat, because he is an adminstrator of steemit. chat.

His id is firepower

For details please read the following:

Do you think this is something I should be involved in and if so, what are you wanting from me?

nothing
I just want to let people know that nobody cares about a real spammer

Thanks so much, Dan!
