RE: Bitcoin dMania Meme

in #dmania7 years ago (edited)

Hey Bernie. I just got back from Lisbon last night, so I haven't caught up on Steemit drama yet. Hopefully you and I can chat about your concerns in Steemit chat when you're in the mood to do so. I have about 50-60 authors and friends I support on Steemit via Steemvoter because (IMO) they have consistently provided value to the platform or I want to encourage them to get started with a vote from me (many have not posted on Steemit yet). As it relates to @steemed-open, I'll look into it...

Ah, I see what you may be referring to? Multiple duplicated posts due to steemit front-end issues. I see they still have some auto votes from me and others. I just removed my votes on those posts which now just say "deleted." Unfortunately this has happened to quite a few people who see an error when posting and just keep posting instead of checking the blockchain to see if it went though. It happened to someone else I vote for while I was flying out to Lisbon and it seems it happened again while flying back. I try to keep track of my votes very closely and thankfully both of these situations where caught prior to any rewards pool payout. I'l be going through all my recent votes to ensure there aren't any other similar situations.

Knowing @steemed-open personally, I'm quite confident she is not intentionally trying to scam anyone, but as I said, I'd be happy to discuss this with you in chat if you want to.

I believe this is only accident caused by the bugs of steemit. Now, I always get error message even when the post is submitted successfully. So, I use the following steps to submit my post at steemit:

  1. Submit post and expect an error
  2. Open another window to open my page to find out whether it's posted or not
  3. If posted, go back the the submit page and clear the draft

It's more painful to modify the post. Because, it's not easy to use the above method to verify whether it's modified or not.

Because of this hassle and because the new color of the links in steemit, I moved to busy.org.

There is a guy who intended to spam steem with 100-300 comments with bot. He has the reputation of 69 and he was former member of steemcleaners. I reported this to patrice. Unfortunately, patrice doesn't admit it's spam.

After I revealed the facts, the spammer came to retaliate. He and his bot @s4s came to downvote me many times. He harassed me, cursed me, and threatened me publicly on the block chain. He even banned my account at steemit.chat, because he is an adminstrator of steemit. chat.

His id is firepower

Do you think this is something I should be involved in and if so, what are you wanting from me?

nothing
I just want to let people know that nobody cares about a real spammer
