Our hero decides to climb the ladder. The videogame will still be there, he figures, if for some reason he decides to play it again. The climb is long and difficult. The walls are much higher than they seemed from ground level. He passes windows along the way, from which the creepy skull mask figures spectate his ascent. He's never been so close to them. If he leapt from the ladder he might be able to climb into the window.

He shoud keep climbing and explore new locations where he can be safe atleast for sometime and then he can make strategy regarding how to handle the inevitable situations.

my thought says hero should be climbing any where & find out a safe place here. because if he use the window then may be he should be caught. so find out a safe place or safe path.

I think he should continue climbing and see where it goes. The guy in the creepy skull mask looks too shady and he might try to push our hero from the window if he tries to jump.
Our hero should jump and knockout the guy in the weird mask, maybe upon entering that window it will lead to a tunnel with a treasury or weapons ;) If he doesn't risk it, he will never know what is there and besides he looks already too tired!
