Smoke Vectors
Wisps I corralled—
or did they build me a home?
—in whatever aimless vectors
it was called them towards
the algid stars
from where they embered?
maelstrom
of possibilities:
blazing essence
and tubes
to attenuate.
Throats tattooed
with various sponges,
balloons filling with fog.
Alive,
a ghost of destiny.
an exhale, a glance,
a blink in swirling flight.
All by the iron edge
of a slantways-leaning hand.
whirl and hum, a symphony
of gestures rise and fall.
Rope around the peg,
circling and encircled
to tie the zeppelin tight.
Set in safety,
the glimmering prison.
Anchor me
and free my arms.
I am a glory indeterminate,
a hesitant reprise of charms.
Alive, a ghost of destiny.
An exhale, a glance,
A blink in swirling flight.
Whirl and hum, a symphony
Of gestures fall and rise.
I am a glory undecided,

This creation is an invitation to look at the edge of the world. It is a sign of provocation of everything and nothing, up and down. A whirlpool that envelops and elevates to unimaginable heights, which raises the volume of sound It is to rise to the consciousness of being alive. The repetition of the verses in the last two stanzas seems to me masterly due to the reconcentration of the idea. Good job, @ d-pend. I'm excited to read your poetry. A strong and strong hug!

Wow what a whirlpool of sound @d-pend!! Here I thought you were taking a day off but your creating a living message. I love the opening few base notes. Every word just falls of the music and dance around my head.
