Thanks for trying, but that won't help me. In fact, it may have cost me my account, unfortunately.
When the site failed to create my account yesterday, even after waiting almost an hour with the icon spinning endlessly, I confirmed it by trying to log in with the key. It said "account does not exist". I rebooted and tried again. It failed again. Each time I tried, I shredded the old key in my paper shredder, and wrote down the new key. Each time the key was confirmed to not work, I discarded it. Thus, I only have the most recent key saved. If that isn't the one which is now associated with the account you manually made for me, I will forever be locked out the next time I restart my PC. :-/
In the meantime, I have tried to upload a video to DTube, and it worked. But it also uploaded a copy to Steem, where I've already got a copy (via YouTube yesterday). Why does it post on Steem, as well as DTube? I thought you had separated yourself and made your own blockchain, and own token? Why then are you duplicating posts?
Also, why is "DTube" the only category for videos, still? That never should have been the case. At the very least it should have been fixed with this latest upgrade.
I deleted the Steem post, but that deleted the DTube post too! At least, it appeared to... because in my DTube channel page, no videos are showing up! Where are my dozens of videos that I've uploaded to your site over the past 2 years? There is not even a thumbnail left of them now?
Next, I tried your new URL upload feature, to bring the YouTube video directly onto DTube.
But again, it showed up on Steem, where it's a duplicate. My viewers won't be happy about that, and I may get downvoted and lose subscribers because of it.
But on DTube there's still nothing showing:
My PC is working well on other sites, so I don't think it's my system or browser causing the above issues.
DTube says I have 1093 VP, and it goes up when I vote on things. Why does it go up, not down? What is VP? What happens when it gets to 0? My voting power is set to 100%, but it didn't use all my VP. Why is it a test coin? If it's worthless, how does it double the rewards? Why don't you answer any of these questions in your post about it? You seem focused on telling people they will get rich "double your rewards!" but not really explain what that means, or deliver on your promise. Is DTube a real site, or just a joke hobby in your spare time? Seriously. It's like you write things completely randomly, hoping people go along with it, and hoping nobody notices that it's all complete nonsense. I don't want "double the tokens". I just want somewhere I can upload and watch videos. Is that still too much to ask, as the years go by??
And as I said, it may not matter at all, because through no fault of my own I may have already lost control of my account. :-/
