Hello lovelies! It’s Thursday 20th June. Happy Almost-Friday! How has your week gone so far? What have you got planned for the last couple of days of the working week?

It started out with blue skies and little fluffy white clouds. An hour or so later and the clouds have pulled together and it’s looking a bit grim out there! I've written my daily freewrite, served breakfast to guests, about to go and clean a room.

I had a bit of a shock this morning when I checked my Palnet wallet. It said I had 1,364 PAL to collect!!! I wasn’t quite sure what was happening. Was this a bug? A little thank you from the PALnet team for being so wonderful? I clicked the button and waited. And then had to refresh the page because it didn’t do it itself… and then… it told me I had claimed my 1.364 PAL! Yes, my computer had got confused between the french system of putting a comma instead of a period, so it had looked for a second like I had over a thousand PAL but in fact I had just over one!

So Palnet has introduced decimals! Hurrah! This looks better already. I was about to give up putting the PALnet tag on most of my posts as I was getting 0 PAL rewards on most of them. Now I can see I have some PAL pennies I will definitely continue, after all if you look after the pennies your PALs will take care of themselves…

Also, with the advent of decimals, it appears I am finally getting some PAL curation rewards. This is motivating to use PALnet more often, to keep staking the PAL rewards, and perhaps will encourage people to use their upvotes on posts that have the Palnet tag in order to get curation rewards.

On a different note, I have decided to cash in all of my Partiko points. Since you can’t earn by watching videos at the moment, I have lost the collecting mojo. Also, I figure, when HF21 comes in and author rewards are downgraded then those points will be worth even less. What do you think?
