It's Raining Upvotes
The very first official upvote airdrop was a success and I got tons of feedback from it. So what I gathered is that people really like how this went and would love for me to continue doing this for obvious reasons. Out of the roughly 30 or so pages I visited, 1 person ended up having their article resteemed. Shouts out to @notconvinced for writing a brilliant piece called Why I Choose To Live Mindful And Minimally. Oh and I also managed to compile multiple articles that were noteworthy into 1 post in order to give others more exposure. So for now the plan is that this airdrop announcement thingy will be ongoing over time. There is no set frequency for this being done, at least not now.
I will be taking some needed rest for an entire day but I will once again try to get this done by the end of the weekend or so. I'm truly grateful to be able to uplift others and support those who have taken the time out to support me.
Here is a quick rundown of how this will go:
- I will visit the blogs of people I have interacted with or those who have commented on a few of my previous posts
- I won't give every blog visited a 100% upvote (this is so my voting power won't drop too low) but I will do my best.
- You may get your post resteemed on my page
- If I don't make it to your blog, no worries because this is something I would love to do again at a later time.
The Art Of Reciprocity continues and we are just getting started. If you happen to see me on your blog then say wassup. Literally if you want to. Lastly to all newer Steemians, this is how we do things around here so kick your shoes off, jump in, and contribute.

I understand that flags can be abused although I do think they have their place. I'd rather focus on rewarding people for their honest and original contributions as opposed to looking for ways to flag people.

Brotip: You don't need to use DTube as a tag because that will be added manually after you publish the post.
Add 4 tags without dtube and after you publish the post the dtube tag will be added automatically and like that you will have 5 instead of 4 tags (aka more views on your posts).

as I wrote earlier - the art of reciprocity is something that everyone should support. If the majority of users will support each other then the stimulus will become much more cohesive. Everyone has a dream and a goal here - but if you want to achieve your goal, be kind and help others. Helping others - you help yourself. The law of the universe.

The Art of Reciprocity..I liked this concept of sharing and I thank you for this great philosophy of life .. It sure does! Behavioral economists really endorse this view and say it’s much more prevalent than traditional economic theory predicts. Simply put: if you say or do something nice for someone, they often feel compelled to return the favor. It works in business too. (Full disclosure- I work for this company..):

That's a cool story. I've never heard of a situation like that. Hopefully this becomes the norm in many societies.

The best kind of airdrops right here. I always think you mean about a coin airdrop, then I realize you mean vote airdrop. I don't have to worry about missing out since I didn't own the coin ahead of time. And if I don't get a vote, it's alright. Nothing lost and I still got to hang out with a bunch of cool people.

Question, does the editor in Dtube work the same way as SteemIt's raw editor? I haven't noticed a way to upload images from my device.
No problem bro. So the description box on DTube is where you paste the actual text. This is what I do. Then if you click on the advanced tab you will notice a box for "Steemit article body". That box is where you paste the html version of your post. That way when you publish the video your video and formatted article will be on the same post.
Also what kind of device are you trying to upload from?
Ok, you've helped me out tonnes right there. I am using my Android Phone exclusively.
Ok. I use my computer. I'm not sure what the issue is as far as loading images to DTube
Not an issue now that I know the editor accepts the SteemIt Raw editor commands. I can upload images on the SteemIt Raw Editor then paste the URL into the Editor body on Dtube. Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
The image uploader on dtube is for your video thumbnail. All other pics should be uploaded or copy and pasted using the post editor or html

I don't think I was around for the last air drop. Have only been an active Steemer for a few weeks but my partner @holoz0r has given me a decent training on how the community works here. I'm glad to find more people like you out there helping more of us new guys out. Both familiar and not.
Glad you found Steemit. There so many things to learn and don't worry about missing the airdrop because I plan on doing this again.
There must be many minnows like me that love you for being so thoughtful and kind. It's so hard to get attention when we are just little minnows swimming in such a great big steemitsea.
