RE: My first dTube video - Steemit Introduction

in #dtube7 years ago

Hello, Deigo, and welcome to Steemit.

Your world travel plan sounds ambitious, but you seem to have gotten off to a good start over the past few years.

Hopefully you will find that Steemit is not only a great platform on which to document your travels, but also a fine community with which you can share all your experiences and get plenty of great feedback.

And if you're diligent, you'll probably manage to earn some Steem also.

Below are a few basic points of advice re posting on Steemit.

  1. Longer posts are more lucrative than short posts. If you make a post of 20–30 paragraphs, it's more likely to earn rewards.
  2. Include some photos, images or graphs, to complement the text.
  3. Make sure the text and photos are formatted properly, so that your post looks attractive and appealing.

Hope this helps for now. Good luck, and Full Steem Ahead!

Thank you SO much for this comment. As I finished posting, I realized that I had done it wrong. I uploaded to Dtube and included all the text in the description box (as you would in Youtube) then I thought, I would have the chance to come to Steemit and tailor my post, but it turns out that it posted automatically, so I didn't get to include as much info as I wanted.

I will keep this in mind for my next video (which i will upload today) and will try to be as thorough as possible :)
