RE: How Much Money I Earned on YouTube for 1 Million Views on a Video

in #dtube6 years ago

I don't mean to be rude, but surely it wouldn't have taken too long to make a similar video specially for Dtube? You mentioned in the text that Dtube can be frustrating, and it totally is, but it's hard on us Dtubers to see people who upload their YouTube videos straight to this platform do so well... I'm totally interested in the money you make from YouTube, and it's a great comparison, but yeah, I'd much prefer the people making videos for Dtube get the Dtube upvotes.

Nah doesn't come off as rude, but maybe you misread it? "Making money on YouTube is definitely doable although if you are just starting out you will make more on DTube so make sure you are uploading to both platforms!" The frustrating bit mostly applies to making videos for YouTube, because it takes forever to make money there. Why should it be hard on DTubers? You literally make way more at the beginning on DTube. And most DTubers upload to YouTube as well.

Thanks for the reply!

Sorry, I don't think I communicated that well. What I was trying to say that it's hard on us Dtubers that create videos specifically for the Dtube platform to see videos like this that were made only for YouTube, recycled onto Dtube... and then get the Dtube upvote for it.

Wouldn't it be more genuine if you created a similar video for people to watch on Dtube instead of just uploading your YouTube video onto this platform?

Of course! I always try to reply to comments. I get what you are saying I really do. By the way this video has made ZERO on YouTube. That channel isn't even monetized yet. haha. My cooking channel is a different story. I prefer to call it maximizing earning potential with your content, instead of recycling. It's smart thinking. :) And no I don't think you have to film a video twice for both platforms. But that is just my philosophy, if people upvote then awesome, if not, then that's okay too. :)
