I believe a person should get involved in a job one loves to do so much that one would do it even without an '' external motivation'', which is a very important prerequisite for having a fulfilled life. That's what will make you put in the extra work.
So true. So true. It's simple but yet so hard to grasp and actually put into action.
Yah, you've said well. I consider myself so lucky to have found this out. It took me close to 10 years to find out this truth. I have always loved building softwares, but because of the family needs I had to meet, those of my brother and sister, I had to take a job I did not like, and life was frustrating. But the day I turned around, my life was filled with joy. I don't earn as much financially, but I earn much more emotionally and psychologically.
Thats true progress for me.
