Your doing just fine and sometimes a bigger sail isn't even possible because of the wind. I could hardly see the differences between your vlog and mine😁 I hope you enjoyed your afternoon and you'll keep us updated on your windsurf skills. Visit Holland and you can use my 9.0m2 😂
Hahaha no I didn't. Noticed the red board? That is capable of handling the 9.0m2 it has enough volume and width to support such pressure. A longer fin is necessary as well.
Remember it isnt the first time I surfed and the 9.0 is a lot to handle. Depending on the wind of cours. When will you visit Zeeland again @michelmake
Yes, it really seems as if size mattered after all. I hadn't been totally sure about that so far... hehe
Woohoo @dboontje mentioned your video on Whatsapp that I had to watch, you improved a lot🎉 So next time you take a 5m as a minimum?😈 because @dboontje is right bigger is faster in these low wind conditions. How many knots you had today? You don’t want to use a 9m with 45 knots😅
I learned my girlfriend surfing with a 6m (low wind and no harness) 🤔
Noooo you already missed the best conditions (same like me...😔) where have you been busy with?
What is the problem with a catapult it’s fun?😈 but serious a catapult you can take care of it before it happens. Some small tips; material wise make sure your harness lines are not too short, you rigged a sail that is a bit large for the conditions, take a smaller fin (but this can give you spinouts). Just put some more pressure on your backfoot (and make sure it’s in the strap) or pull in your mast hand
Or start learning a frontloop😉 (can’t do it myself🤣)
Nice video and edit @surfermarley :) Enjoyed the whole video and got some nice summer vibes in my head while watching. Thanks for that :)
Peace!
You’re welcome and thanks for stopping by. I’m happy you enjoyed the video in such way 🙃 Happy weekend for you!
Hahaha see!! Progress

9.0m2 are you kidding?!
Woah, your video looks amazing. I need to mount the cam on the rig, that's a very cool angle!!
Again, thanks for the inspiration, I'm happy I followed your advice :-)
Keep on rocking!
9.0 that's double of what @surfermarly used in the video you badass! And you put that on a sinker right? ;)

Nice work, looks like you're getting the hang of it! Did you get catapulted with the harness at any point? That's always my problem :P
Thanks for sharing this vid, fun to wacht!
You guys with all the windsurf videos really make me anxious to get out there soon!
