I’ve been with @dustsweeper for a very short time, but have already had my dust swept. Thanks! Question, when, what, has to happen inorder to stop making dust? Are there targets to aim for? Guess thats 2 questions.

Awesome that you are using it @electricswine! And to stop making it, then they would have to stop making votes less that the threshold... So you would get no votes until your vote was worth more than the current $0.0200... The only other way to eliminate it would be to lower the threshold ... Neither of those are likely to happen in the short run. The reason they did it this way is they though they would have lots of spam they are paying for... But if you are a real person, it is a steep price to pay to not have your vote counted for the first 3 or 4 months. (unless you buy steem or are a star coming in)
I don't think there is a target right now... But given the support of this program, they might give it some thought in the future.
That all seams reasonable. So now the question is, How does one get their vote up to $0.0200? Buy Steam, How much Steem? Is there some place I can go for answers? I really don’t want to consume any more of your time. Thanks Dave

To answer your question, you can either buy Steem and turn it into SP or you can lease the SP with your account... People do both and it depends as to which suits you the best... I am always happy to answer though, so don't hesistate to keep asking ;)
