As long as they say "unofficial" on it sure, why not! (I'm still a bit of a newbie and not sure about the guidelines on that ;)
How long can you call yourself a newbie anyway? Under a year old? Or is it shorter? haha

Yeah. The newbie thing can get a bit confusing @antimetica.
There will often be contests for newbies that I'm surprised I can still enter since I've been here 6 months. But often entry is dependent on your reputation or Steem Power and that's what gets me in.
There have been a couple of times recently when people have said to me "oh. When you're as small as you are it's fine to self vote".
That's a bit of a wake up call since I've worked really hard to get where I am but am obviously suffering from delusions of grandeur! 😂
It felt like a huge milestone to get to 500 steem power but, in truth, it doesn't really equal much power at all. Still good to have though! 😁
