Oh that's a shame @davemccoy. I liked being paid in Steem but that doesn't mean it was actually a better deal.
As I've mentioned before if my brain sees a higher number it thinks that's good thing and I know around here that isn't necessarily true.
It looks like the SBD to Steem ratio is getting better again though. I haven't changed my SBD into Steem for a while now as I've been waiting for it to go back to a 1:1 ratio.
Seems it's moving in the right direction as the price of Steem drops but, as we know, that could all so easily change tomorrow! 😊
I'm with you on waiting... and 2 easy things to remember, first is the lowest sbds should go (for any period of time) is $1 as they are "pegged" to that price... and 2 if steem goes below $1, that ratio will definitely flip the other way... If steem was back to $0.50 then you would get 2 steem for every sbd.
Yeah. I remember when I first joined I think I got 1.50 Steem or maybe it was more but once that ended I just started using 1 Steem as my bench mark.
But it's been a while now for that to be reached.
I just noticed that I just got paid some Steem on my posts so the ratios must have shifted again.
Right. I'm off to bed now feeling a bit nervous as I just posted on timcliff's thread that his idea that stakeholders have a say about what happens here is nice in theory but not in reality since the top 20, and most powerful, witnesses upvote each other.

very cool on both points... I had a feeling you were going to be ok on that one! He would've looked bad if he was negative... And great on getting the plug for the witnesses, we need to spread that word far and wide. ;)
I don't remember the exact post as I've seen so many out there. I know Asher did a piece about 15 of the top 20 owning bidbots, but I don' t think he wrote about the circle votes.
