RE: Earthquake in Wales ?

We started getting earthquakes soon after they started fracking for oil and pumping waste water into injection wells.

For people living in places not historically known for having earthquakes, it's quite unsettling to say the least.

We had a 5.8 in 2016 that was centered about 5 miles from my house.

Very unexpected. Took days to clean things up and check building foundations. Nothing scarier than crawling under a house to check foundations while knowing that another earthquake could happen any time.

Earthquakes do occur in Wales - but very rarely, and very low level.

I think I'll pass on the crawling under the house bit....
