I wonder how many jobs they create, and how much they pay out in taxes. Really it wasn't that difficult to create an amazon or a facebook, even I had wrote a social network to compete with myspace and was evolving it into a commerce hub to advance nerds rights...but lacked the funds to really get it going. Was about to a few years ago once I became an actuary or could borrow more in becoming a graduate student-but instead I became a political prisoner right before I was to finish my second undergraduate degree and the county nearly starved me to death.
Facebook, microsoft, alphabet, amazon, et all al do things with mutual assent-and when the environment isn't destroyed that is a net positive on the world. These companies don't hoard cash, they invest it into other industries to create new jobs, new wealth, and cleaner technologies. It is government that needs to be starved to limit its abuse of power.
