10.9.2022 - City Walk
On Saturday we went to the city center tour in Vienna. Christoph @manncpt was our guide. The 3h walk started at the University of Vienna, where he studied science of communication ten years ago.
After the University we went to Schottentor, which was the north gate of the city in medieval times. From there we went to Stephansplatz the center of the 1st district. Christoph took us to lot of hidden places, told us some history and showed us around.
Later we went to Schwarzenbergplatz, where we saw really expensive cars and luxurious hotels, like Hotel Imperial. It played an important role in politics as location for difficult negotiations. The walk ended at Burggarten and we finished the ring tour at Heldenplatz nearby, there is the door to the west. The most prestigious entry to the center. We liked the walk. It was really interesting, we really enjoyed it and learned something.
11.9.2022 - Off day
On Sunday we had a bit of an off-day, because everyone was tired. We relaxed in the hotel. Kevin went to the Museum of War. He really enjoyed it there.
12.9.2022 - Edison meetings
On Monday we woke up a bit late. Then we went to breakfast. The boys got a new room, because the previous didn't had a functional window. We worked on our projects too. Also adjusted some pictures and wrote our diaries. In the afternoon we went to meet Christoph and Werner @schmidi at Edison from 3pm- 6pm.
At Edison we continued to collaborate on our tasks. Werner gave us an amazing speech. It was really impressive about the right mindset and what we can achieve with it. It was really good!
3.9.2022 - Quick meeting with Christoph
On Tuesday we started our day at 10pm. We had a quick briefing with Christoph, then we started to work on our tasks. We finished at Edison at 12pm. Some of us went out to eat pizza, the others went back to the Hostel. We had a wonderful pizza. It really tasted great!
In the afternoon we went out to the city, to gather some content, we saw urban farming places, some thought it would be bigger, but clearly in the city is not much space... It was a nice small garden with some plants.
We went to some local parks, where we saw a beautiful fountain. The weather was really good. After that we drove home with the subway. When we arrived home we had dinner.
14.9.2022 - Tropicarium
On Wednesday we started a bit late, because the weather wasn't really good. In the morning it rained a little and everything was wet. In the morning we worked from the Hostel. Everyone had a task to do, so we were quite busy. In the afternoon we split into two groups. One group went to the Tropicarium, the second went to city-sight-seeing.
We walked to the city central again to explore the small streets. We saw a really nice shop front. The little exploration in the city was astonishing, we really like Vienna and its architecture. The other group went to the Tropicarium. They saw cute animals and really enjoyed it.
Now @manncpt is in the train to @hivefest in Amsterdam correcting the text and publishing the report for us. Hope you like it. We will continue to explore Vienna in the meantime and follow the tasks we got from @globalschool. 😉
