I just love movies that make you think during the movie and after. That you just want to talk for hours after and discuss the movie. Haven't seen Mr Nobody and thanks for the tip! I would like to mention a couple of movies that would fit your list:
1.Memento - Movie about a man who doesn't remember anything, but he keeps finding guiding notes that he left for himself with the hints of the past ..
2.City of God - Brazilian movie about lives of the people, gangs, children situated in temporary housing near Rio de Janiero
3.A scanner darkly - a movie about a detective investigating drugs placed in future. Directed in a very strange way.
4.Shutter Island - I still believe that Leo was set up!
Cheers!
Thank you so much for your comment and suggestion. I love this type of movies for the same reason, they give you so much more than just entertainment. They give a reason to think about life in general and actually enjoy it afterwards too! If you like movies like that, you def should watch Mr. Nobody :)
That's a really good list. I watched Memento and City of God. Shutter Island's been on my watchlist for ages and I feel ashamed for not having watched it yet! I will watch it soon for sure. :)
