RE: Comment for Cash on the STEEM Blockchain

in #esteem6 years ago

The blockchain sees comments just like it sees posts and treats them 100% the same. - wow! I thought the opposite was true - and it was "throwing away upvotes" to upvote a comment unless others were also upvoting it past a minimum of 0.02 SBD.

I did power up, once my account was big enough, and I do have a bigger upvote now, so it's ok that my SBD is tied up for months.
Every day, every hour, I stand corrected on something or other. Thanks for this. I do try to comment regularly on content that catches my eye, and to recognize a variety of Steemians, though I confess I do gravitate to the same people. :) Especially in #dailypetphotography and #freewrite. Thanks for this and all your informative posts, @fitinfun!

You're welcome, @carolkean.

BUT there is such a thing as "dust voting" A comment and a post have to be over 2 cents to pay.

I do not vote comments under 3 cents to be sure since the actual number fluctuates.

This is old but helpful - not my post.
