The two prominent works are the Perfect Commentary on the Qur'an and the Arraatul Almalik (The Book of the Apostles and Kings).encyclopedia Britannia says, "All books have been lost by Tabari's book of interest." His book has been widely translated into foreign languages by orientalists.
Tabari is known as a detailed and accurate author. Tabari's pleasure method of "telling stories" is through isnad.the sources of information are previous historians such as Ibn Ishaq, Kalbi ibn Saad, Moqaffa, and other Persian translations.
