How to prepare rice water?
Here are some ways that can be done to get rice water, that is
Soaking rice
The easiest way to get rice wash water is to soak it. Here are the steps:
- Take ½ cup of rice.
- Wash thoroughly.
- Put the rice into a bowl with.
- adding 2-3 cups of water.
- Let stand for 30 minutes.
- Strain the rice water into a clean bowl.
Difermentation
Some people claim that fermented rice water has more benefits than ordinary rice water. A study in 2012 states that fermented substances have higher amounts of antioxidants.
Antioxidants in this fermented rice washed water is believed to prevent and fight the damage of hair cells and skin.
It is on this basis that the fermented rice washed water is said to have more benefits than the soaked rice wash water.
To get fermented rice water, follow steps 1 through 4 in the soaking water of rice. Next, before filtering, let stand the soaked rice for two days at room temperature. After two days, strain the rice back into the clean bowl.
Cooking rice
The third way to get the benefits of rice water is to cook it. Enter ½ cup of rice water into the pan. Add water twice the usual dose when cooking it. As the rice and water boil, strain the rice water into a clean bowl.
How to use rice laundry water for hair
In order to get the benefits of optimal rice water, you can use it as a conditioner. Here are the steps:
- Wash hair with shampoo.
- Rinse thoroughly with water.
- Pour water into the hair gradually and thoroughly.
- Massage the scalp and leave for up to 20 minutes.
- Rinse hair thoroughly with water.
You can treat your hair with rice water twice a week. After one month, notice there is any change in hair.
Some people who use it regularly claimed that their hair became thicker and more manageable. Therefore, prove yourself the benefits of rice water by trying it yourself at home.
